Obverse: The Gandaberuda, a sort of pigeon or two-headed eagle, on the left, surrounded by four small elephants, two of which it holds in its talons and two in its beaks [symbolising the victory of justice over destructive forces].
Reverse: Three-line legend in Devanagari with a central cartouche reading ‘Sri Pratapa Chyutaraya’ [the Glorious Majesty Achyutaraya].
