Provisional Government of the French Republic (1944–1946). 50-centime nickel-bronze trial coin, Special Strike (SP) 1946, Paris.
Obverse: REPUBLIQUE – FRANÇAISE. The radiant Republic, seated on the left and holding a fasces; in the exergue, the signature BARRE and (date); ESSAI on the right.
Reverse: FRENCH INDOCHINA / (variant) NICKEL-BRONZE (variant). Within a crown formed of two composite branches: 50 CENT.
