Savoy (Duchy of), Victor Amadeus II (1675–1730). Medal commemorating the coronation of Victor Amadeus II as King of Sicily, Jerusalem and Cyprus, by Don Antonino Calcerano, 1714, Palermo.
Obverse: * VICTORIVS AMEDEVS. D. G. SICILIÆ IERVSALEM ET CIPRI REX. Bust facing right wearing a large wig, draped and armoured, with the collar of the Order of the Annunciation. Below: .D. D. A. C. 1714.
Reverse: *REGIO CAPITI A' - REGNI CAPITE*. The king, seated on a throne and facing left, beneath a canopy, holds a sceptre. He is crowned by the Genius of Palermo behind him and receives the keys, placed on a tray, from the hands of the Genius of Sicily. Below, the signature C. P. and in the exergue S. P. Q. P.
