Obverse: VMBERTO DI SAVOIA. The young Umberto (II) in his cradle; signed R LANCELOT CROCE.

Each with a bail and ring. 800 fineness marked on the silver medallion. A small chip on the gold one. Superb.
Marcelle Renée Lancelot, or Marcelle Renée Lancelot-Croce, was a sculptor and medallist of French (1863–1946) and later Italian origin. She married the artist Odoardo Croce in Rome on 9 April 1892 and took Italian nationality, changing her first name to Marcella. She lived in Rome for several years. In 1900, she finally won a gold medal at the 1900 World’s Fair and first prize at the 1906 World’s Fair in Milan
