Ferdinand VII (1808–1833). 4 escudos, featuring a draped and laureated bust, 1812 JP, Lima.
Obverse: FERDIN. VII. D. G. – HISP. ET. IND. R. Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust facing right, with the date below.
Reverse: IN. UTROQ. FELIX. – .AUSPICE. DEO. A crowned shield surrounded by the Collier, flanked by 4 - S; in the exergue (mint mark) and (variant).

This is the second-highest grade!
NGC AU 53 (2183765-013).
Very rare with the large laureate and draped bust for 1812 Lima, the only year this type was struck! The strike is centred, with broad mill marks. Minimal blank defects. Even wear, with a golden patina. TTB / Superb.
