On a wreath formed of a laurel branch and a palm frond, a shield bearing the coat of arms of Peru, surmounted by a crown. Reverse: CIEN SOLES ORO - GRS. 42.1264 OF FINE GOLD. The Republic seated on the right holding a pike surmounted by a cap of Liberty, with a column inscribed ‘LIBERTAD’ surmounted by a crown; in the exergue (date). KM.231 - Fr.78; Gold - 46.8 g - 37 mm - 6 h NGC MS 62 (2903995-016). Only 498 copies minted. Minimal marks and slight wear on the slightly satin-finished reliefs and mirror-finish fields.
