Obverse: REPUBLICA PERUANA / LIMA / NUEVE DECIMOS FINO - WEIGHT: GRS: 23.40355. On a wreath formed of a laurel branch and a palm frond, a shield bearing the coat of arms of Peru, surmounted by a crown.
Reverse: CINCUENTA SOLES ORO – GRS. 21.0632 DE ORO FINO. The Republic seated on the right holding a pike surmounted by a cap of Liberty, with a column inscribed ‘LIBERTAD’ surmounted by a crown; in the exergue (date).
