USA (UNITED STATES OF AMERICA) - UNITED STATES OF AMERICA Federal Republic of the United States of America (1776–present). 20-dollar Liberty coin, without date, 1863, Philadelphia. Obverse Within a border of thirteen stars, the head of Liberty facing left wearing a diadem inscribed ‘LIBERTY’, signed ‘J. B. L.’ and with the date below. Rev. UNITED STATES OF AMERICA/ TWENTY D. Eagle with outspread wings. Fr.169; Gold – 34 mm – 6 h NGC AU 55 (6515805-014). Small circulation marks have caused the fields to darken, with a slight golden patina and traces of the original lustre, particularly on the reverse.
