Obverse. Within a border of thirteen stars, a head of Liberty facing left wearing a diadem inscribed ‘LIBERTY’, with the date below.
Reverse: UNITED STATES OF AMERICA/ TWENTY DOLLARS. An eagle with outspread wings; above, IN GOD WE TRUST; below, (mint mark).
