VIETNAM Annam, Tu Duc (1848–1883). 7 tiên or Song long ND (1848–1883). Obverse: Tu Duc’s proclamation “Tu Duc’s legal tender” in four Chinese characters surrounding the central square perforation. Reverse: Surrounding the central square perforation, the sun and clouds above and below, between two facing dragons. Schr.347B - KM.467; Silver - 26.18 g - 53.5 mm - 12 h NGC AU DETAILS OBV TOOLED (8772186-035). Wide flan, with a few edge defects, notably on the reverse where there is scraped corrosion. Otherwise, slight wear and a pleasant grey patina. Almost Superb.
