Description
VIETNAM Annam, Tu Duc (1848–1883). Tiên ND (1848–1883). Obverse: Tu Duc’s proclamation “Tu Duc’s legal tender” in four Chinese characters surrounding the central perforation. Reverse: The ‘nhu’ y’ sceptre (blessings be upon you) repeated twice, accompanied by two ‘van’ swastika characters (ten thousand). Schr.361 - KM.409; Silver - 3.66 g - 26.7 mm - 12 h PCGS AU55 (50535721). This specimen has seen little circulation, with a brilliant finish on the obverse and a darker patina on the reverse. Superb.
