Description
Wedding belt in vermeil (silver gilt) (800‰) , fabric, passementerie and leather decorated with stitched domes of various sizes. They are filigree and openwork, crowned with lines of stitches and finished with a ball. The larger models have a scalloped corolla base. The large hook clasps are similar to those on the larger domes, with four chains on each side holding a green glass lenticular bead. The motifs are sewn onto a fabric belt, the interior is lined with garnet velvet and the clasps are stiffened with leather. Numerous hallmarks but few are legible.
