*Kalas , also known as Demarchos, was a Macedonian general and officer, son of Harpal and cousin of Antigonus. He played a key role in the conquest of Asia Minor and was appointed governor of the province of Phrygia Hellespontica. His name, Kalas, means "the great one" in Greek, and he is often associated with notable military victories, notably at the Battle of Granica.
