Thomas HACHE. (Attributed to). MAZARINE CHEST OF DRAWERS with a top of elm burl veneer and native woods, decorated with bands of blackened wood. It opens to reveal four drawers in three rows with cabochon-style fronts. Gilded and chiselled bronze lock plates, feet and drop handles. Work from the Dauphiné region, early 18th century. H.84 L.125 P.70. A chest of drawers similar to those by Thomas HACHE is featured in the book *Le Génie des HACHE* by Pierre and Françoise ROUGE, published by FATON, on page 211.
