ORIGINAL LOUIS XV SECRETARY DESK with a curvilinear shape, in rosewood veneer with moulded frames. It opens to reveal 4 drawers of different sizes, a small pull-out compartment and 2 doors. The uprights are tapered, and the sides are flared. Curved and facetted base. Gilded bronze ornamentation. Top in red Languedoc marble. (One small chip on the back of the marble). Probably Austrian, 19th century. L.92 W.51 H.134.
