VASSOU Jean-Baptiste. PAIR OF LOUIS XVI CHEST OF DRAWERS in precious wood veneer, decorated with elegant marquetry depicting musical instruments and antique-style vases. The fluting and Greek mouldings are highlighted with verdigris-coloured wood. They open to reveal two drawers without crossbars and stand on sheathed legs ending in clogs. Grey marble tops with white veining. Stamped and hallmarked by Jurande. 18th century. L.82 W.40 H.88.
