Description
19th-century FRENCH SCHOOL. ‘Bust portraits of two little girls in dresses with blue drapery (probably two sisters)’. A pair of oval pastels from the second half of the 19th century, presented in their period frames of gilded wood with gold leaf and a beaded border. One is signed Gobert (or Robert?) and dated 1862. The pair is in very fine condition. 52x43.5; visible area 44x36.
