ORIGINAL SMALL CABINET in inlay of native woods, decorated with architectural perspectives. It opens via a flap concealing eight drawers decorated with village scenes or “architectural caprices” and ‘wild grasses’, in cherry wood with inlays of maple and plum wood, themselves framed by double bands of small rectangles of plum, boxwood, pear and walnut. Augsburg or, more likely, Innsbruck, Tyrol. Late 16th or early 17th century. H.14.3 L.17.3 D.13.
