Description
A half-moon-shaped LOUIS XVI console table in carved and gilded wood. The moulding features oak leaf motifs, from which cascading floral garlands hang. It rests on four tapered, fluted legs joined by a crossbar surmounted by an antique-style vase. The top is of white, grey-veined marble. (Gilding has been touched up and there are a few missing sections). Late 18th century. L.125 W.56 H.84.
