OSHKOSH TRUNK COMPANY. Large travel wardrobe trunk, circa 1925–1935 (in need of restoration). Upholstered in black canvas, reinforced with substantial riveted steel fittings and fitted with retractable side handles. It opens at the front to reveal a fully fitted interior comprising, on one side, a hanging compartment with its original wooden hangers and, on the other, a series of five drawers with retractable handles. The interior is lined with canvas and retains its original layout. Trunk supplied with its key. A fine example of American craftsmanship, designed for the great transatlantic voyages of the first half of the 20th century. Supplied with its key.
