Description
Set of 21 Compagnie des Indies Famille-Rose porcelain. China. Qing Dynasty. Qianlong period. 18th century.
Comprising four plates measuring 22.5 cm in diameter, a pair of bowls measuring 7 x 15 cm and 5.5 x 14.8 cm, a pair of small bowls measuring 13.3 and 13.7 cm in diameter respectively, a sauce boat measuring 6 x 19.5 x 14.5 cm, a fruit bowl measuring 12.5 x 24 cm, a jug measuring 15.3 cm in height, a pair of plates measuring 22.7 cm in diameter, another pair measuring 28.5 cm in diameter, another pair measuring 31.3 cm in diameter, and four plates measuring 24.2 cm, 23.2 cm, 23 cm and 41.8 cm respectively.
Provenance:
- Collection of a hôtel particulier in Paris, belonging to a family of the French high aristocracy. A collection assembled between 1883 and 1976.
- By descent to the present owner.
