Edouard HONORE à Paris, manufacture à Champroux dans l'Allier - Large porcelain THEIERE with bird-head spout with polychrome and gold decoration of flowers and quirin inspired by Imari porcelains of Japan and productions of Bayeux, Restoration - Louis Philippe period, diameter : 17 cm. Small chip on the inside of the lid.
NB: Like his brother, Edouard Honoré was at one time associated with his father, Dagoty, at the Manufacture de l'Impératrice, which became the Manufacture de la Duchesse d'Angoulême at 4 bd Poissonnière in Paris. In 1824, Edouard Honoré, who was a member of the Board of Directors of the Manufacture de Sèvres, decided to move his factory to Champroux, in the Allier region, where he produced the whites, retaining his Paris workshop for the decoration.
