SET OF EIGHT TIN-GLASSED EARTHENWARE PLATES – 19th–20th CENTURIES. Comprising:
- Boch Frères Keramis, La Louvière - Two tin-glazed earthenware plates with a multi-lobed rim and a blue-painted floral design in radiating cartouches surrounding a central flower; the rim of one is painted yellow. Monogrammed on the reverse: BFK with the painter’s mark. Late 19th century. Diameter 26 cm.
- Gien – Two round tin-glazed earthenware plates with a central cockerel painted in blue, surrounded by radiating motifs. Signed on the reverse: Gien with the painter’s mark: CL. Late 19th century – early 20th century. Diameter 25 cm.
- Manufacture de Géo Martel, Desvres - Tin-glazed earthenware plate with a scalloped rim and a polychrome painted decoration featuring a crowned ‘F’ in the centre, surrounded by foliage in the Rouen style. Monogrammed on the reverse: GM. Early 20th century. Diam. 25 cm.
