CHINA - WANLI period (1572 - 1620)
An iron globular vase decorated with applied stylised floral motifs, riveted and inlaid with silver wire, Buddhist emblems of double fish and lotus flower on a swastika background, the lower part of the body decorated with sapaicas, swastika, bats and flowers, the foot inlaid with flowers, the high neck flanked by two handles supporting mobile rings inlaid with sapaicas and ribbons. Height 41.3 cm
