ILLE-ET-VILAINE (35) - DOL-DE-BRETAGNE - "Interior of DOL Cathedral". 19th century. Original drawing (probably by Félix Benoist) in graphite on chine paper. Situated "Intérieur de la Cathédrale de Dol" lower left in grey pencil. Provenance: Fonds of the Charpentier workshop run by Pierre-Henri (1788-1854) and his son Henri-Désiré (1806-1883), printers and publishers based in Paris, then in Nantes (from 1854). 26 x 17.5 cm for the drawing on china paper. 36 x 27.5 cm for the wove paper. Condition B (rare small stains and a short tear in the margins, subject in good condition).
