ILLE-ET-VILAINE (35) - "Holm oak on the RANCE". 19th century. Original Sketch (probably by Félix Benoist) in graphite on cream wove paper. Situated "Chêne vert sur la Rance" lower left in grey pencil. Provenance: Fonds of the Charpentier workshop run by Pierre-Henri (1788-1854) and his son Henri-Désiré (1806-1883), printers and publishers based in Paris, then in Nantes (from 1854). 22.7 x 34.5 cm. Condition A (well preserved).
