LOIRE-ATLANTIQUE (44) - "CHÂTEAU DE LESNERAC (LA BAULE-Escoublac)". 19th century. Original Sketch (probably by Félix Benoist) in graphite on China paper. Situated "Lesnérac à M [...]" lower left in grey pencil. Provenance: Fonds of the Charpentier workshop run by Pierre-Henri (1788-1854) and his son Henri-Désiré (1806-1883), printers and publishers based in Paris, then in Nantes (from 1854). 19.5 x 28.8 cm for the chine drawing. 25.5 x 35 cm for the wove paper. Condition A (a tiny spot of foxing in the lower left-hand corner, otherwise in good condition).
