MANCHE (50) - ST LÔ - "The Vire near ST LÔ (with a washerwoman)". 19th century. Original Sketch (probably by Félix Benoist) in graphite on grey wove paper. Situated "La Vire près de St Lo" in pencil lower right. Provenance: Fonds of the Charpentier workshop run by Pierre-Henri (1788-1854) and his son Henri-Désiré (1806-1883), printers and publishers based in Paris, then in Nantes (from 1854). 30.3 x 22.5 cm. Condition B/C (trace of sunstain and small fold at top left edge of sheet).
