MORBIHAN (56) - "Interior of Morbihan, near a large ironworks, between VANNES and JOSSELIN". 19th century. Original Sketch (probably by Félix Benoist) in graphite on fine wove paper. Signed "Intérieur du Morbihan, près d'une grande usine à fer, entre VANNES et JOSSELIN" in pencil lower left. Provenance: Fonds of the Charpentier workshop run by Pierre-Henri (1788-1854) and his son Henri-Désiré (1806-1883), printers and publishers based in Paris, then in Nantes (from 1854). 23.3 x 31.5 cm. Condition A (tiny needle hole in the corners, good condition).
