CHÂTEAU EN FRANCE - Original drawing (probably by Félix Benoist) in graphite on wove grey paper. Provenance: Fonds of the Charpentier workshop run by Pierre-Henri (1788-1854) and his son Henri-Désiré (1806-1883), printers and publishers based in Paris, then in Nantes (from 1854). 50.5 x 37 cm. Condition B (a short tear on the right edge of the sheet and in the upper right-hand corner, a few small handling creases on the edges and a slight trace of sunstain in the lower left-hand corner).
