VENDEE (85) - [Vendée village]. 19th century. Original Sketch (probably by Félix Benoist) in graphite on wove paper. Provenance: Fonds of the Charpentier workshop run by Pierre-Henri (1788-1854) and his son Henri-Désiré (1806-1883), printers and publishers based in Paris, then in Nantes (from 1854). 27 x 37.7 cm. Condition B (a short tear at the foot, rare small marks of handling on the edges otherwise good condition).
