NIEVRE (58) - NEVERS - View of "Nevers". c.1650. Etching engraved by Israël SILVESTRE (Nancy 1621 - Paris 1691), after Louis de Lincler (active in the 17th century). Printed on two sheets. Proof of the 1st state on 2, with the names of the artists, the title and the text in Latin and French, before the name of Mariette and the cross-references, on watermarked laid paper (4-leaf clover). Margins. RARE AND EXCEPTIONAL ENGRAVED PANORAMA FROM THE XVIIth CENTURY. 20.5 x 83 cm copperplate. 29 x 85,5 cm per sheet.
