Description
Imposing Guéré Wé anthropo-zoomorphic mask, wood and pigments, with exaggerated facial attributes, symbolising savannah animals (elephant, warthog, etc.), with horns and tusks, a pair of large ears, half-open eyes and a blunt nose. The chin is covered in animal skin and topped with two wooden teeth, while the upper part of the head and the inside of the mouth are covered in fabric stuffed with plant fibres.
