Amsterdam, Zacharie Chatelain, 1740. 2 works in 6 vol. in-12 bound in full cherry red morocco, spine ribbed and gilt, triple fillet framing the covers, double gilt fillet on the edges, gilt lace inside, gilt edges. Later binding by Emile Rousselle. Adorned with a portrait of Corneille by Picart, repeated, and 2 engraved titles, each repeated, as well as 31 out-of-text figures. A very fine copy in a signed binding.
