Paris, David, 1760. 8 vol. in-12 bound in full garnet morocco, gilt ornamented smooth spines, triple gilt fillet framing the covers, gilt fillet at the edges, gilt roulette inside, gilt edges (period binding). Decorated with a frontispiece portrait engraved by Legrand after Coypel and 33 out-of-text figures engraved by Legrand after Boucher. Pleasant copy in contemporary binding.
