In-4° full cherry morocco, spine with false nerves, author and title in gilt lettering, wide inner border with triple gilt fillet (Period binding). Published from the originals by Ad. Van Bever. Wood-engraved portrait of the author by G. Aubert. Edition of 840 copies, this one of 800 on large tinted vellum. A fine and unique copy, enriched with 24 original full-page drawings signed by Roger Ferrero, a Swiss illustrator and engraver born in 1915. Spine slightly oiled.
