[3] ff, X, [1] f., 186 pp, [1] f. First edition, illustrated with numerous black and coloured in-text compositions by the author (the 9 out-of-text compositions are missing). Limited edition of 126 copies on Japon, this one of 100 numbered and signed by the author. A veritable graphic chronicle of fin-de-siècle Paris, the work vividly captures the atmosphere of balls, processions and popular festivals, in a satirical vein deeply rooted in the Montmartre imaginary. Our copy is complete with its 2 illustrated covers preserved in one piece and folded at the head, and with the illustrated poster announcing the publication of the work folded out at the end of the book.
