RIMBAUD (Arthur ). Bateau ivre. Paris, s.n. [Gonin], 1939. In-folio bound in full black morocco decorated on the first cover with a mosaic decoration in green, blue, red and brown morocco and gilt and silver fillets of a boat on the sea in a storm, and on the second cover with a compass rose in mosaic of light and dark brown morocco, gilt head, brown morocco inside endpapers and double wavy gilt fillet depicting waves, in slipcase. Binding signed J. Ogiez. Poem illustrated with 25 original black lithographs by Yves Brayer. Rare work printed in only 40 numbered copies, signed by the artist. A fine copy despite a faded spine. Good condition Binding: A few very slight white marks, as if white grease had been applied to the boards. Spine dry and wrinkled Inside pages: Clean
