(Contemporary binding). Third edition, revised, corrected and considerably expanded by Jacques Jean BRUHIER, of this treatise which had first appeared in a single volume in 1702 and then in 1705. Contemporary handwritten index on the endpapers and title pages. Vicaire, 513–514. Water-stain on the first three quires of Volume I and the first two of Volume II; worm-eaten margins on the last quires of Volume I; and a wormhole affecting a few letters, but not serious; very slight defects to the binding.
