Flemish-style half-basane in mottled fawn, with corner pieces; smooth spine decorated with gilt scrolls; title page in pink morocco; mottled edges. (Contemporary binding). 3rd edition. The Bulletin des Lois No. 488, concerning the administration of Hospices and Charitable Organisations, November 1821, pp. 601–615, was bound at the end, with a handwritten colophon, probably by THEVENON. Handwritten and printed bookplates of THEVENON, doctor and mayor of Craponne. Stains on the endpapers.
