In-12, xxvii, [1], 234, [2] pp. Fawn sheepskin, smooth spine with floral decoration, title page in red morocco, triple gilt fillet on the covers with gilt spandrels, gilt fillet on the edges, marbled edges. (Contemporary binding). Second edition, expanded and revised, of this rare work. It reproduces the frontispiece from the first edition (1772), engraved by Y. le GOUAZ after J. B. CHEVALIER; there are four folding plates by CAMUS, whereas the first edition contains only one, which differs from these. Quérard, VIII, 440. Binding rubbed, head cap worn away, wear to the corners. A good copy nonetheless.
