Paris, Humaire, undated [1767]. 12mo, viij, [4], 119 pp. Marbled fawn sheepskin, spine with 5 raised bands and floral decoration, title page in fawn morocco, volume pages in green morocco, blind-stamped fillet on the covers, red edges. (Contemporary binding). This edition of *Avis au peuple* corresponds to the second original edition, expanded to include a translation of HIRZEL’s German Preface and notes. Water stain at the top of Volume II, which does not affect *Avis aux gens de lettres*; slight defects to the binding.
