In-8°, in a very good condition, 748, [1] pp.; 479, [1] pp.; 503 pp.; 440, [1] pp.; 418, [1] pp. 10 gr. excluding tax, including 1 fold-out. Aubergine-coloured veal with a mottled pattern, smooth decorated spine, title and volume labels in red morocco, gilt fillet and roulette on the covers, gilt fillet on the edges, marbled edges. (Contemporary binding). The fourth volume contains *Paul and Virginie* (pp. 73–240). Stamped ‘M. FAVEYRIAL’. A small corner loss on page 10, not affecting the illustration; foxing; binding rubbed, spine sun-faded.
