In-4°, 72 unnumbered pages, frontispiece and one colour plate out of the text, black-and-white and colour illustrations in the text. Publisher’s cardboard binding, upper cover in colour featuring a black velvet donkey, spine in red percaline. First edition, edited by Edric VREDENBURG. Raphael TUCK & Sons and Captain Edric VREDENBURG published extensively, but copies of the ‘Furry Mascot’ series have become rather rare. Ex-dono, handwritten in English from a father to his daughter on the occasion of her school certificate. Slight wear and tear from use, a few foxing spots. A good copy.
