Description
An 18k yellow gold (750) pocket watch, featuring a guilloché decoration of a floral medallion and garlands. The white enamelled dial displays the hours in Roman numerals and the minutes in Arabic numerals. The metal dust cover bears the inscription ‘CYLINDRE A HUIT RUBIS’, a blank cartouche and is numbered 18293 on the reverse. Horse’s head hallmark used between 1838 and 1919 on the pendant. Second half of the 18th century. As is (damage, missing parts; one hand and the glass are missing). Gross weight: 23.24 g The watch was not in working order at the time of valuation.
