Description
An 18k yellow gold (750) pocket watch, featuring a guilloché decoration of a floral medallion and garlands. The white enamelled dial displays the hours in Roman numerals and the minutes in Arabic numerals. The metal dust cover bears the inscription ‘CYLINDRE A HUIT RUBIS’, a blank cartouche and is numbered 18293 on the reverse.
Horse’s head hallmark used between 1838 and 1919 on the pendant.
Second half of the 18th century.
