Description
French work from the late 18th century. A pair of candelabra with greyhounds. In marble, gilded bronze and bronze with a black patina. The circular base, accented with a decoration of pearls and heart-shaped motifs, supports a truncated conical column. A seated greyhound in patinated bronze leans against it, standing upright alongside an elegant guilloché-worked shaft adorned with twisted scrolls and fine chains. A gilt-bronze plume crowns each candlestick and supports the candleholder.
