Paris, 13 April 1831. 1 p. in-4 on ministry headed paper. About a request for the loan of a work from the Royal Library, which he supports. - Charles COQUEREL (1822-1867), entomologist. L.A.S. to an assistant naturalist at the Jardin du roi. 4 January 1843. 1 p. in-8 on bifeuillet in-8 envelope. He recommended him to the editor of the Courrier français. - Clovis HUGUES (1851-1907). Autograph note signed on headed paper of the Chamber of Deputies, to his wife the sculptor Jeanne Royannez (1855-1932). [January 1885]. 1 p. in-8: "Courage, ma Jeannette..." as she appeared in court for the murder of the detective François Morin, who had defamed her; she was acquitted. - Bernard Pierre MAGNAN (1791-1865), future Marshal of France.
