Description
SAINT-MICHEL (order of) - Acknowledgement of the deposit of the collar of the order of Saint-Michel by the widow of Bertrand Try following the death of her husband. Signed by Nicolas-Pierre Tiolier (1784-1843), bailiff of the King's orders, Paris, 21 April 1821. 1 p. in-4 on headed paper of the King's order with woodcut vignette depicting the cross and cordon of the order.
Stamp under paper of the bailiff of the King's orders with the great arms of France.
Bertrand Try (1754-1821) was maître des requêtes at the Conseil d'État in 1818 and then conseiller at the Cour de cassation in 1821. He was elected deputy for the Seine in 1815.
