A collection belonging to a FORMER SOLDIER comprising: A RECORD OF 9 DECORATIONS (Legion of Honour, Military Medal, 1914–1918 War Cross, Combatant’s Cross, 1914–1918 War Commemorative Medal, Verdun Medal, Colonial Medal, Morocco Medal and Military Wounded Badge), THIRD REPUBLIC MILITARY MEDAL, in silver, vermeil and enamel (speckled), hinged design, COLONIAL MEDAL (1895), silver design with single-sided loop (1914–1962), Paris Mint hallmark, 29.5 mm discs, silver clasp (boar’s head hallmark) with ‘MAROC’ clamping mechanism and MOROCCAN MEDAL (1910), in silver, 30 mm disc, manufactured by the Paris Mint, silver clasps in oriental style with ‘MAROC’ clamping mechanisms, 23 x 29.5 cm, framed under glass, set unframed, very good condition.
