Lucien GAUTRAIT
Necklace in 18K (750°/°°) yellow gold with oval mesh and cartouche, the central part with double rows, alternating with probably fine pearls; is embellished with three rectangular motifs (the larger central one removable by screw system), decorated with scrolls, palms and florets, set with rose-cut and old-cut diamonds as well as roses on stems and an antique-style aulos player enamelled green and white on a green enamel background over guilloché.
The central medallion is signed and bears the hallmark of the master goldsmith: "L.G" de Gautrait/Gariod, circa 1900. Missing clasp, clasp with safety chain, ring for central pendant (missing).
